Do you enjoy working with elementary school-aged children, and families?  Do you have a desire to be a member of a team that provides recreation and leisure opportunities for a community?  Do you have a strong sense of public service?  The Arundel Parks & Recreation Department seeks a Rec Programmer.  This Recreation Programmer will be primarily responsible for the operation and supervision of the Before & After School program, half-day and no-school day trips, vacation week trips, and will also be involved in community event planning and implementation and other programs as time allows.  The Recreation Programmer will play an important role in our annual “Summer Rec” day camp as the program coordinator.  Leadership, team spirit, reliability, computer skills, attention to detail, interpersonal skills and a sense of public service are crucial.  Commercial Driver’s License with Passenger Bus endorsement required (training provided if needed). Degree in Recreation or related field required. Full-time, year-round position with competitive pay and a generous benefits package for the right candidate.
