Job Description

The Town of Windham is seeking an energetic, motivated, team-oriented individual wishing to join the Parks and Recreation Department as an Administrative and Marketing Assistant.  Windham is a rapidly growing community with leadership that greatly values the role the department plays in enriching the quality of life for its residents. The Parks and Recreation Department has seen much expansion in the past decade and is excited about future growth that is upcoming!  The ideal candidate for this professional position is one who can thrive in a fast-paced setting with each day presenting new opportunities. The candidate will be involved in administrative and clerical support for the team and the development of marketing materials designed to promote programs, special events and facility offerings for all ages.  

This position is full time and the starting pay range for the position is $22.87-$24.99.  We offer competitive benefits as well as an option for Maine State Retirement system and other retirement plans to choose from.  We also offer a 40 hour 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday.
